“开始找工作的时候对自己的定位比较低，只要求能自己养活自己就行。我在一家公司已经工作了几个月，已过了试用期，但感觉所学专业在平常的工作中所用甚少，专业得不到很大的提升，与预想的差别比较大，所以就想辞职，再找一份新工作。”即将毕业的山西轻工学院机电一体化专业学生沈定杰这样告诉记者。
尽管自己学历不高，但工作了一段时间后感觉经验比文凭更重要。一个企业要的是效益，他们希望员工能很快进入工作状态。作为毕业生，首先要给自己定好位，现在找工作不是你想干什么就干什么，而是得知道你要干什么、你能干什么。山西工程职业技术学校建筑设计专业的陈飞对记者说道。
近日，山西人才市场针对“我省高校毕业生就业观念问题”进行问卷调查。结果显示，有近42%的受访者认为，“对自身定位不准”是造成毕业生找工作频频失败的主要原因之一。从自身角度出发分析问题，显示出我省毕业生就业观念发生转变。
调查显示，除了对自身定位不准而造成求职失利外，近39%的大学生认为自己输在缺乏工作经验上，而有18%的受访者认为自己缺乏社会交际能力而导致求职成功率较低。
省人才市场郭敏副主任认为，在金融危机背景下，就业环境相对严峻，高校毕业生除了要加强自身能力素质的提升，更需要积极转变就业观念，以理性的择业观、就业观面对挑战。同时，郭敏主任表示，人才市场在未来发展中会积极发挥自身作用，加强对毕业生就（创）业方面的技能培训，鼓励引导毕业生就业、创业，不断提高人才市场的公益化服务水平。
